What We Do

Many people need legal help, but not everyone can afford to hire an attorney.

Triad Legal Group is a nonprofit law firm that offers discounted services to people earning less than 400% of the federal poverty level. How much you pay will be based on your unique circumstances. We’ll ask you how much you make, but that won’t be a barrier to the legal services you need.

We serve the Piedmont Triad area, including Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, Alamance and Forsyth counties and the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and the surrounding communities.

Civil law issues

Triad Legal Group attorneys handle a range of common civil law matters. These include divorce and family law; child custody and child support; domestic violence and 50B orders; immigration issues; and wills, trusts, and estate planning. While some of these issues can be handled without a lawyer, state proceedings can be complex. An attorney will advocate for you inside and outside the courtroom.

From traffic tickets and drunk driving to criminal charges such as shoplifting and drug possession, it’s important to remember that you have rights and you’re not guilty until or unless a court says so.
